Our Story
Once upon a time in 2015, Kristin and Michael met at their office with the Division of Child and Family Services in Carson City, Nevada. Kristin was working at the front desk, and Michael was working on the Help Desk. Because Kristin was at the front desk, she and Michael saw each other frequently every day. They quickly became friends and went out to lunch together and with Michael’s cousin, Chris. They quickly bonded over discussing work and their similar interests. It also helped that Kristin found Michael’s jokes to be very funny.
In November of 2016, they admitted that their feelings of friendship had evolved into something more. They went on their first date and enjoyed dinner at Adele’s before seeing the film “Moana”. They had a wonderful time together and knew they were meant to be much more than friends. After their second date, Michael
asked Kristin to go steady.

They became closer over the next year and decided to share a home in 2017. Together, with Michael’s daughter, Anna, they built a home and familial life—and loved every minute. They filled their home with fur-babies, worked on house projects together, and shared lots of family time snuggled up in their Game Room.
October 10th, 2020. He surprised Kristin with a beautiful website he built for her. It covered their history, the things he loves about her, and his promise for their future. After Kristin had read through the website, Michael was waiting on bended knee with a ring. Of course, Kristin said yes.

Kristin, Michael, and Anna are so excited for this next step to bring their family even closer together. And they can’t wait to share this special moment and celebration with their loved ones.
